Peer Mentoring

At Aldersley High School we have a unique and very successful peer mentor service that ensures our children have a safe environment in which to learn as well as giving opportunities to our older students who give their time freely to gain skills and qualifications which will enhance their future prospects.

Peer Mentors & SoS

Peer Mentors are a team of sixth form students professionally trained by Wolverhampton city college. They work within the school and act as a professional friend to our younger pupils. This ensures that if any problems occur they are on hand to offer support on a one to one basis.

SoS Workers (Students offering support) are in their first year of training as prospective peer mentors. They work within their form groups as role models and deal with minor issues.
