For new Year 7 students the uniform is smart, practical and reasonably priced. All items must be clearly marked with the owner’s name. Clarification on appearance issues can be found on notices in tutor rooms

- Purple blazer with school logo embroidered on breast pocket
- Black trousers
- White shirt
- Clip on tie in college colours
- Belts – plain, black
- Shoes – plain, black (trainers are NOT acceptable)
- Socks – plain, black (or dark plain colour, grey, etc)
- Turbans –lilac
- A coat, raincoat, parka or anorak
- A black headscarf (For Muslim students only)
- A bag, in which to carry belongings
- Hairstyles – hair must be of a natural colour. ‘Tramlines’ and similar detailing are unacceptable
- Girls

- White revere style blouse
- Lilac blouse scarf

Jewellery is a serious health and safety issue for the school.
As such we only allow items that pose the least risk. Students may only wear a watch,
a single 5mm stud in each ear (silver or gold in colour), NO raised stones.
A plain ring, NO raised stones, sovereign or similar types of ring. A single bangle for
religious purposes. Any other items will be confiscated and placed in the school safe for
parents/carers to collect.
